National Geographic
Both of these shots were featured on National Geographic's website. Growing up, I dreamed of working for National Geographic, traveling the world and capturing our beautiful surroundings. When I saw my photos on the site I felt so proud! I love our world.

We are all made of stars
I started photography the old school way- black and white film and a dark room. For me, there is truly no better feeling than being in my zone in a dark room, doing my thing. I've been working on a series for almost two years now, combining my two loves : photography and astronomy. These photos have gotten me into Best of College Photography 2010 and won me 2 local photography competitions. It seems to be that the work that I am most emotionally attached to is the most successful. I couldn't post most of these because of censorship, but here are some shots :

This shoot was a blast... and I have a new favorite location, Kraft Azalea Gardens. Take a look at some of the great shots:

This includes an engagement ceremony, which is somewhat like a wedding itself. Before the wedding, we have events like the mehndi/henna party, bridal shower, special nights for prayers, and many many more, where everyone gets dolled up in lavish sari's and outfits.I have done countless amounts of these ceremonies, but here are a few of my favorites:
and yes, that is my gorgeous sister in green and blue :).
